QC is a collective mark of enhancement registered by the Emilia Romagna region. The use of the trademark is granted to farms that choose to produce and breeding respecting the disciplinary of integrated production. The traders that can ask the license to use the QC mark are:
The concessionaire is required to follow the disciplinary of integrated production of interest, in order to guarantee the quality from cultivation to final consumption throughout the supply chain. The system underlying the QC mark is “mixed”: on one hand there are the self-control procedures; on the other hand, the impartial control that assures the customers.
A certification by a third-party body is associated with the trademark or seal of origin, a certification for which CSI following the best practices shared by Emilia-Romagna Region, institutionally committed to the protection of the citizen/customer.
