Railway Materials and Equipment - Reaction to Fire
CSI performs fire reaction tests on materials and components for railway vehicles according to the EN 45545-2.
In the railway sector, CSI is recognized at European level by all railway rolling stock manufacturers (Alstom, Bombardier, Ansaldo Breda, Siemens, etc.), and by railway line managers and certification agencies (Trenitalia, SNCF, Certifer, DB to name a few. ) and is able to certify the Reaction to Fire and the Toxicity / Smoke Opacity in conformity with all the test methods required in the sector.
CSI is a laboratory able to offer global assistance, following customers from the preparation of documentation and sampling for tests to the issue of test reports, without any additional cost.
