CSI is a laboratory authorized by the Ministry of Domestic Affairs for fire reaction tests, tests aimed at assessing the degree of participation of a combustible material exposed to fire under certain conditions.
Such tests are a mandatory requirement of technical codes, laws, rules and regulations of the construction and transportation industry, as fire performance is an extremely important factor in ensuring public safety and evacuation in the event of a fire.
In Europe, building materials must be tested in line with the Euroclass system, which classifies a product based on its reaction to fire (flammability, opacity and toxicity of smoke, etc.).
CSI is able to offer global assistance to its customers by following them from the preparation of the ministerial documentation and the sampling required for the reaction to fire tests, to the presentation of the procedural request at the Ministry of Interior for obtaining the deed of homologation, and supporting them for all the clarifications and any additions that the Ministry may require, until the homologation is issued. All this without any additional cost.
