Cables - Reaction to Fire, Toxicity and Opacity of Smokes

As of 1 July 2017 the CE marking of electrical cables according to Reg. 305/2011 (CPR) has become mandatory.
The essential requirements to be met are reaction to fire and emission of hazardous substances. CSI laboratories perform:

  • IEC / EN 60332-3-22, 23 and 24 fire non-propagation tests; CEI 20-22/2; EN 50399
  • IEC / EN 61034-2 smoke opacity tests
  • Toxicity and corrosivity tests of components IEC 60754-1 and 2, EN 50267-1 and 2, CEI 20-36 / 4-0
