Toys Compliance: Test and Verification (EN 71)

The importance of the toy safety issue has led the Food Packaging Materials Operating Sector, already able to carry out tests in compliance with harmonized European regulations, to develop a particular sensitivity for the management of problems connected with the safety of toys and gadgets, not only in compliance with Toys regulations, but also in compliance with the consumer goods code.

The laboratory evaluates the safety of toys according to the requirements of harmonized standards by performing:

  • Physical-mechanical tests;;
  • Chemical tests;
  • Flammability tests;
  • Electrical safety tests.
